Preventive Dental Care
Preventive dentistry helps keep your child’s teeth and gums healthy as they grow. Regular checkups and hygiene services all work together to prevent cavities and catch problems early. We also teach kids and parents how to care for teeth at home, making healthy habits fun and easy!

Routine Cleanings
Routine cleanings are an important part of keeping your child’s smile healthy. During these visits, our team gently removes plaque and tartar to help prevent cavities and gum issues. We also teach kids proper brushing and flossing techniques in a fun, supportive way. Regular cleanings help build good habits and keep your child’s teeth clean and strong.
Dental Exams
Dental exams allow us to check your child’s teeth, gums, and bite for any signs of problems. We look for early signs of cavities, monitor development, and make sure everything is on track. These visits are quick, comfortable, and help us catch issues early—when they’re easiest to treat.
Dental Sealants
Sealants are a simple and painless way to protect your child’s back teeth from cavities. We apply a thin, protective coating over the chewing surfaces to block out food and bacteria. They’re especially helpful for children who are still learning good brushing habits and can last for several years.
Fluoride Treatments
Fluoride treatments help strengthen tooth enamel and make it more resistant to decay. After a cleaning, we apply fluoride in the form of a topical gel. It’s quick, safe, and provides an extra layer of protection—especially for children who may be more prone to cavities.
Dental Radiographs
Dental radiographs (X-rays) are a safe and important part of your child’s dental care. They help us see between the teeth and below the surface, allowing us to detect cavities, check tooth development, and monitor bone health. We use low-dose digital X-rays designed with children in mind to keep them safe and comfortable during their visit.

Restorative Dentistry
When a child has a cavity, damaged tooth, or other dental issue, restorative dentistry helps fix the problem and protect their smile. Restoring a tooth early can prevent pain and avoid more serious problems later on, keeping your child’s mouth healthy and strong.

One-Visit Pediatric Dental Crowns
When a baby or permanent tooth needs extra protection, we may recommend a same-day crown. It’s a fast, comfortable solution that helps save the tooth and restore normal chewing and appearance. When the baby tooth is ready to fall out, the crown will simply fall out with it.
Tooth-Colored Dental Fillings
If your child has a cavity, we use tooth-colored fillings to repair it in a natural-looking way. These fillings blend in with their smile and are strong enough to hold up to daily chewing. The process is quick and gentle, helping to restore your child’s tooth with minimal stress.
Pulpotomies
A pulpotomy is a common treatment used to save a baby tooth when the inner part of the tooth, called the pulp, becomes infected or inflamed. During the procedure, we gently remove the affected portion of the pulp and place a medicated material to preserve the rest of the tooth. This helps relieve pain, prevent further infection, and allows your child to keep their natural tooth until it’s ready to fall out naturally.
Dental Extractions
Sometimes a tooth needs to be removed if it’s too damaged or is blocking a permanent tooth from growing in. We make dental extractions as easy as possible using gentle techniques and calming support. After the procedure, we’ll provide instructions to ensure a smooth and speedy recovery.

Sedation Dentistry
Dental sedation can make visits easier and more comfortable for children who are anxious, very young, or need extensive treatment. We offer several safe options, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation, and general anesthesia. Our team works closely with families to choose the right level of sedation and ensure a calm, stress-free experience from start to finish.

Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is a mild and safe form of sedation that helps ease anxiety during dental visits. It’s inhaled through a small mask and works quickly to help your child feel calm and comfortable. Patients remain awake and can respond to the dental team throughout the visit. Once the mask is removed, the effects wear off quickly, and most children return to normal right away.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation involves giving your child a prescription medication before their appointment to help them feel calm and relaxed. While they remain awake, they may feel sleepy and have little memory of the procedure. This option is helpful for children with moderate anxiety or who need longer treatments. We’ll review your child’s health history and provide detailed instructions to ensure a safe and smooth experience.
In-Office IV Sedation
IV sedation helps children stay calm and relaxed during more complex dental procedures. Medication is delivered through a small IV, and the patient remains drowsy but responsive. This type of sedation is safe and closely monitored by a trained professional throughout the visit. It’s a helpful option for children with dental anxiety or those who need longer treatments in a single appointment.
Hospital with General Anesthesia
General anesthesia is used when a child needs extensive dental work or is unable to tolerate treatment while awake. It allows patients to sleep comfortably through the entire procedure without feeling pain or remembering the visit. This option is often recommended for patients who cannot sit still for long periods of time, those with special needs, or cases involving multiple procedures. Your child’s safety is our top priority, and the anesthesia is provided by a trained medical professional in a controlled hospital setting.
